What sets the Northern Lakes Impact Center apart as a provider of outdoor education and wilderness experiences is that we tailor each experience to the group coming as well as taking care of all the planning and running of the programs. In addition, the outcomes that matter most to us is that each participant can walk away with a greater self-awareness, leadership development, expansion of knowledge, and an appreciation for self, others, and the environment. We reach these outcomes through designing transformative learning experiences, where students develop new technical skills as well as a sense of teamwork, self-confidence, and a desire to make a difference. Our experiences are always delivered by a group of skilled and dedicated educators and instructors. Northern Lakes Impact Center team members are committed to teaching by the fundamental outdoor education principle that learning is achieved best through action and reflection.
